Rise Up! Shape Up!

Rise Up! Shape Up! was a web series launched in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through the office of then Women in Sports oversight commissioner Celia Kiram, the PSC organized a digital show, releasing weekly webisodes catered to Pinays, revolutionizing access to sports.

The digital show provided an empowering platform that was open for ages 7 and above, discussing issues and topics that affect women and girls.

In just 18 months since its first webisode in October 2020, Rise Up! Shape Up! web series had released 64 episodes that have inspired women and girls to embrace sports as a tool in fighting against the pandemic, participating in physical activities to promote lifestyle habits and a healthy well-being.

The show had featured a handful of women sports personalities such as Paralympian Adeline Dumapong-Ancheta, three-time Olympian Akiko Thomson Guevara, Cynthia Carrion, president of the Philippine Gymnastics Association of the Philippines and others.
