Quezon City residents gave the Philippine Sports Commission -organized “Learn and Play“ a warm reception at the Quezon Elliptical Circle.

Played for the first time after Chairman Ricardo Garcia and Mayor Herbert Bautista signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) last Monday, city residents from all ages actively participated in aerobics, arnis, football and taekwondo conducted by national coaches.

We started with four sports. We will expand the program by including other sports next week to give others the opportunity to participate in their favorite sports,“ said project director Larry Domingo.

“Many people come to the circle every weekend to play their favorites sports. Now they can learn the basics of their favorite sports with the help of our certified coaches,“ added Domingo.

Close to 500 participated in four sports in the first day of the sports activities supervised by Domingo, Norberto Dinglasan,Warren Gabriel, Fred Joves and Lina Colendrino.
